Papakura Military Camp expansion project

The NZ Army’s Papakura Military Camp (PMC) is currently undergoing expansion with the construction of a range of new facilities to support growth and modernisation of the base. In 2017 Neo Consulting (nee Ergo Control Systems) was engaged by Defence Estate and Infrastructure (DEI) to investigate upgrading the electrical infrastructure to support this expansion.

This involved assessing the capacity and condition of the existing infrastructure, exploring options for future upgrades, and estimating time and costs for these future works. This investigation was begun in April 2017 and concluded by July 2017. Detailed design commenced in September 2017, but due to rescheduled funding this was put on hold. Design was resumed by Neo in April 2018 and is ongoing.
